I had an overall very positive experience staying at San Lyra Confinement Centre. This is in fact my second time choosing San Lyra for my second born (first was in 2023 back when they were still at the previous location, VE hotel).

1. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What stood out most was how attentive the team was to both mommy and baby throughout the stay. The level of care was consistent across the entire service line—from the salesperson during the initial enquiry stage, to operations staff, and the nursery team. Everyone was professional, caring and very responsive to our needs.

One of the things we appreciated most was how quickly requests were attended to. Whether it was a small adjustment or a specific need, the staff were accommodating and rarely left any request unattended for a prolonged period. This made the stay much more comfortable and reassuring, especially during the postpartum period when support is so important.

2. Accommodation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The room, especially now at the new location, was spacious and well-equipped with most of the essential amenities such as oven, washer and dryer, sterilizer, kettle, fridge, etc. The location is another big plus, with plenty of eateries nearby for both daddy and visiting family members.

The shared facilities downstairs were also great, especially for families with older children. The swimming pool, kids’ pool, and indoor playground were wonderful additions that helped keep our toddler entertained and made the confinement stay feel more family-friendly.

3. Meals ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The confinement meals were generous in portion size. Over a 28-day stay, there were naturally some dishes we enjoyed more than others, but overall the food quality was good and met expectations.

4. Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
There were daily housekeeping at the rooms, and bedsheets can be changed weekly. Cleaners were friendly and helpful.

A minor improvement area though — we found the cleaning prior to check in could be better (there were some potato chips crumbs on the chair perhaps leftover from the previous guests), and the washing machine provided had a slightly musky smell when first opened, although it functioned properly without any issues.

Overall, San Lyra Confinement Centre offers excellent care, attentive service, comfortable accommodations, and family-friendly facilities. Despite a few minor drawbacks, our experience was positive.
